Mosaïque Surface specializes in custom stone mosaics. Our experienced team creates original and intricate murals, medallions, floors and table tops, and proposes a large variety of borders and field patterns.

Our designers have full creative freedom and their imagination is limitless! We are inspired by architecture, travel, cultures, and above all by Mother Nature. Nature is an endless source of inspiration for us. From shells on a beach, to the bark of a tree, our designers are specialists in translating the beautiful subtleties of the natural patterns surrounding us, into artworks that capture the essence of the ephemeral.

There’s a story woven into each collection; a story where each pattern is a chapter written by the composition of stones and colours. That is why we go through countless iterations in order to design the perfect collection. Each pattern is delicately crafted; each color and each stone is carefully selected in order to get that perfect harmony that is characteristic of our work.

Our mosaicists are true artisans, crafting mosaics according to the traditional techniques of the trade, as well as using cutting edge technology, which combined together give us the best tile making practices of our time. Extraordinary skill and years of perfecting their trade are woven into each beautiful mosaic.

Just as in the design process, each stone is carefully selected to ensure a balance in the tonal variations of the same stone in any given mosaic. The pieces go through quality control every step of the way, to make sure that our clients get the best product they could ask for.

Innovation Innovation is Part of Our DNA

Waterjet technology is about precision cuts every time, using a high-pressure water jet to cut complex shapes in a variety of materials. This technology only uses water and sand; no heat transmission is required and no chemicals are used. This way the stones, glass or metals remain unaffected, whereas they would be caused to morph under high temperatures, and neither do they require finishing treatments. This makes us completely unlimited in terms of design: we can make any shape, in any material, without any compromise. A designer’s dream come true!

First to introduce Waterjet, as well as the use of metals and Venetian glass in mosaics, innovation is simply part of our DNA.

Sustainability Only the Cleanest Technology

Waterjet technology is the cleanest technology available for stone cutting, producing overall fewer airborne dust particles, little or no smoke or fumes, and no contaminants. The cuts of the supersonic Waterjet are so precise, that close to no material is lost in the process. Each cut is pre-programmed via state-of-the-art software with a gap as little as 1 mm between the pieces, thus optimizing the use of materials and reducing waste to a minimum.

In addition, we are currently experimenting with developing an in-house water recycling process to reuse the water required during the Waterjet cutting of materials. We hope to once again lead the industry with in-house recycling processes that create zero waste.

Our goal: zero waste using only authentic materials.
